German-speaking metalcore at a TOP level, that's EUGEN! Parts full of atmosphere and with a great sense of melodies alternate with brutal, everything-crushing moments, which shine through thunderstorm-like drum volleys and technically sophisticated guitar work. Straight out of the fog of "Enemy Close / BTK / Let Life" this battleship sets sail and gets ready for the battle for minds. With a clear ideological position, one could draw a lyrical comparison or two to Superman, although EUGEN clearly has his own knows how to set accents. The very varied singing and the many small sound elements round off the listening experience perfectly. Anyone who likes the bands mentioned will definitely not be able to ignore EUGEN, modern music at its best!
